DM110- PORTFOLIO PROJECT
Vinh Le

Beginning with my designing processes. I have listed a few examples of what I think is a slick party.
+Cocktail & photography party
+Halloween & dance
+Just another Thursday afternoon
+Tea or Chai
But ended up choosing:
+Cocktail & photography talks
+Indie music night
+Poetry reading night
Another idea is to have a little pleasant witty surprise in the back of each invitations quoting a relatable quote to the party, purposefully to lighten up moods of readers
The logo is inspired by a real club in Hanoi. The Hanoi Social Club is initially a bar but they have dedicated a tremendous space for art exhibition, cinema and featuring notorious indie rooftop music.
Tugged in a corner of the French Quarter in Hanoi, this gem is well known between travelers and artist, a true home to hopeless romantics.
John Sylvan here- an Australian man with a Vietnamese heart, founder of Hanoi Social Club. A good friend of mine
